When it came time for the party, I must admit that bubbles are the best party favors!! Kyla's cousins and neighbor friends all played outside with the bubbles while the food was being cooked on the grill.
When it came time for presents and cake, Kyla was a little beside herself. Not wanting to take an afternoon nap (too much going on), she looked a little zoned when it was cake time, this didn't stop her from digging in.

Kyla is very cute! And yes, Rachel you're right - the 1st birthday is WAY more for the parents than the kiddos. I've decided that the 2nd birthday is more for Mom & Dad too. This past June, Lydia turned 3 and it was the first year she was very vocal in what kind of a party she wanted. Glad to see you had a great time with Kyla's 1st! It's a super fun time! Still looking forward to getting together at some point soon! <>< Bree
