Smiles

Last night we spent some family time on the floor playing with Kyla before her bedtime. She was full of smiles as she watched her dad jump out from behind the door during her favorite game of "peek-a-boo". It is amazing how simple games can get the best reactions. Just like most parents, this occasion called for the camera. As I looked over the pictures we took, I remembered a picture that we took the day Kyla was born. Thank you little Kyla for bringing smiles and joy into our home!

Conversations with Kyla:

11.20.10: K: "Dear Jesus, thank you for us!"

7.25.10: Daddy, you are the best daddy in the whole world!

Kyla's response to mommy after she insisted that mommy clean up the spilt milk, "Yay, Mommy listen and obey, I so proud of you".

Kyla, while mad at mommy because she wouldn't give her a snack before dinner, Kyla said "Mommy I want a snack, listen and obey, please!"

Kyla saw Barney on tv and said "Mommy you see Barney." Before mom could answer, "Barney loves you too!"

While looking up at the stars with Jason, he asks, "Kyla can you count the stars?" Kyla says "1...2!". Jason replies, "yep, 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,11". Kyla points at the stars, "one, two, eleven!"

While laying in bed Jason says, "I really don't want to have to leave you to go to work, Kyla. I wish I could stay and play with you all day." Kyla looked back and said, "Me too daddy".
